Protect your account

Do not send your password, verification code, access token, payment-card number, or other sensitive authentication credentials in a support request.

Contact support

Email support@dealhunter.app. Include the email address associated with your DealDog account, a short description of what happened, the screen or feature involved, and any exact error message. You can also include your iPhone model and iOS version when the issue appears device-specific.

Please leave out passwords and sensitive credentials. Screenshots are helpful only after you check that they do not expose private messages, codes, or unrelated personal information.

Login and email confirmation

  • Confirm that you are using the same email address used to create the account.
  • Check spelling, capitalization, and accidental spaces in the email field.
  • If DealDog says confirmation is required, check the inbox and spam folder for the latest Supabase confirmation email.
  • Use “Resend confirmation email” on the sign-in screen if the original message expired. The app applies a short cooldown between requests.
  • If the app reports a rate limit, wait a few minutes and use the most recent email already received.

If you still cannot sign in, contact support with the account email and the exact message shown. Do not include your password.

Password reset

From the DealDog sign-in screen, choose “Forgot password?” and enter your account email. Follow the reset instructions and enter the verification code and new password in the app. Use the newest code if more than one reset was requested.

Signed-in password accounts can also open Profile, Settings, Change password. Accounts managed by an external sign-in provider may need to change the password with that provider.

Notification troubleshooting

  • Open iOS Settings, Notifications, DealDog and confirm notifications are allowed.
  • In DealDog, open Profile, Settings, Notifications and check the relevant alert choice.
  • Confirm that the alert has a useful query and that any price or retailer filter is not too narrow.
  • Open DealDog with a network connection so the device can refresh its push registration.
  • Remember that DealDog sends an alert only when the backend finds a matching active deal. Enabling notifications does not guarantee a match.

Saved deals and alerts

A saved deal is missing

Confirm that you are signed into the same account, then refresh the Saved screen. A deal can also disappear from active feeds when it expires or fails a current availability check.

An alert is missing or not updating

Open the alerts area while signed in and refresh it. If the alert still does not appear, include the alert query and any price or store filter in your support request. Do not send account credentials.

A deal opens the wrong page

Use the in-app deal-report option when available and include the deal title, retailer, and what the destination showed. Prices, stock, eligibility, and retailer pages can change after DealDog records a listing.

Account deletion

Open Profile, Settings, Account controls, then Delete account to use the authenticated permanent-deletion workflow. Read Account deletion for the records covered, limited records that may remain, and what happens after completion. If you cannot access the account or the request fails, email support@dealhunter.app.

Review the Privacy Policy for data handling and the Terms of Use for deal accuracy, retailer links, account responsibilities, and service limitations.
