The process removes the Supabase login identity and account-linked data from DealDog's active operational stores. Review the scope below before confirming.
Delete your account in the app
- Open DealDog and sign in.
- Open Profile, then Settings.
- Under Account controls, choose “Delete account.”
- Type the account email address and current password.
- Review the warning and confirm “Permanently delete account.”
The app requires the signed-in account email and a recent password reauthentication before submitting the request. After the server confirms that the workflow completed, DealDog signs the account out and clears account-specific state from the active app session.
What is deleted
The completed workflow deletes the Supabase authentication identity and the account-linked records covered by DealDog's active operational stores, including:
- Profile, account, and preference records.
- Saved deals, saved collections, alerts, and alert matches.
- Votes, feedback, reports, searches, clicks, and recommendation interactions or impressions linked to the account.
- Streak, badge, and daily-engagement records.
- Push-notification tokens, device registrations, and notification settings linked to the account.
- The Supabase login identity and its active sessions.
The app also clears account-specific local saved items, activity, alerts, votes, dismissals, push-token state, content caches, image caches, and network caches after the server reports success.
What may remain
Account deletion does not promise immediate removal from every backup, log, or third-party system. Limited information may remain as follows:
- A pseudonymous deletion-operation receipt that no longer contains the completed account's Supabase user identifier.
- Security, abuse-prevention, service-integrity, or system logs where retention is reasonably needed.
- Support correspondence or records required for legal, fraud-prevention, or financial obligations.
- Encrypted or disaster-recovery backups until they are replaced under operational backup practices.
- General app preferences or caches on a device that are not account-specific. Removing the app removes its app container, subject to Apple's device and backup behavior.
DealDog does not currently publish a fixed expiry period for logs or backups. Information retained for an exception should be limited to the applicable purpose.
Processing and failed attempts
Deletion runs when you confirm the authenticated in-app request. The app displays success only after the server reports the workflow complete. If part of the workflow fails, the request is recorded as incomplete and can be retried; the app does not represent that attempt as completed.
Once deletion completes, the account cannot be reactivated. A new account may not restore deleted saves, alerts, preferences, history, or other account data.
If you cannot access the account
Email support@dealhunter.app from the address associated with the account. Explain that you cannot use the in-app control and provide the account email. Support may request additional information needed to verify that you control the account. Do not send your password, verification code, access token, or payment-card details.
Web and support options
This page explains the process but does not itself execute account deletion. The authenticated in-app control is the self-service deletion path. If it is unavailable or fails, contact support@dealhunter.app for help.
